Norfolk - Great Navy Campout (Registration Full)(RESCHEDULED)

Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 7 through Sunday, September 8.  

Come camping at NAVSTA Norfolk MWR’s 2024 Great Navy Campout at Breezy Point Park beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 7  until 7 a.m. on Sunday, September 8. Check-in begins at 5 p.m. Enjoy free food, glow-in-the-dark laser tag, a movie under the stars, s’mores, family competitions, and more. This event is open to all eligible patrons. Online registration is required.

The Pledge to Camp initiative is back in conjunction with Great Navy Campout! The Navy MWR Community Recreation and Liberty programs are encouraging participants to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, whether it’s their first or hundredth time, in a backyard or a national park! Explore and share your adventures each month from Memorial Day weekend through October for your chance to win a $500 gift card! Two winners will be randomly selected each month: one E1-E5 winner and one winner selected from E6 and above military personnel and other eligible MWR patrons. At the end of the event in October, two grand prize winners will be randomly selected for a $2,500 gift card! There will be one E1-E5 grand prize winner and one grand prize winner selected from E6 and above military personnel and other eligible MWR patrons. All you have to do is Pledge to Camp.
