Naval Station Norfolk 2024 Fleet Fest

Naval Station Norfolk's annual Fleet Fest event is free, and open to the public! Join us on Saturday, October 19 as the base presents ship tours, live entertainment from The Deloreans and United States Fleet Forces Rock Band, static aircraft displays, large children's play area, military demonstrations, chili cook-off, food vendors and more.

The festivities kick-off at 10 a.m.

Naval Station Norfolk 2024 Fleet Fest Ship Tours

Fleet Fest ship tours are on the Amphibious Assault Warship, USS Gonzalez (DDG 66),Coast Guard Fast Response Cutter Nathan Bruckenthal and Coast Guard Medium Endurance Cutter Vigorous from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ship tour line will be cut off promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Naval Station Norfolk 2024 Fleet Fest Chili Cook-Off and Concessions

The 2024 Fleet Fest includes food concessions and of course the annual Command Chili Cook-Off Challenge with free tastings. The Fleet Fest Chili Cook-Off is taking place Saturday, October 19 from 9 am to 4 pm. The chili cook-off is open to commands from all installations and there will be a special guest judge! Prizes will be awarded. Best chili first place will win $500, second place will win $300 and third place will win $200. The people's choice chili will be awarded $250 and the best showmanship winner will get $250. Enter your command into Naval Station Norfolk's Command Chili Cook-Off!

There are a variety of things to do, activities and entertainment at this year’s Fleet Fest. Featured activities include live entertainment featuring The Deloreans and United States Fleet Forces Rock band, a carnival, static aircraft displays, a Coast Guard silent drill team performance, a U.S. Navy search and rescue demonstration, a military working dog demonstration, a landing craft air cushion demonstration and a U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue demonstration.
