Chafee Run Club

Meet at the John H. Chafee Fitness Center Lobby
This club welcomes runners of all abilities, whether you are trying to build up for your first 5k or you are looking to improve your personal record. We will meet each Monday in the lobby and explore scenic loops around Naval Station Newport and the local area. Each week will begin with a proper dynamic warm-up, conclude with a cool down and stretch, and will feature different workouts to build up your speed and endurance.
MAY 5 - Opening night, running analysis followed by 5K Club Run
MAY 12 - Hill Workout
MAY 19 - 5K Club Run
MAY 26 - Federal Holiday Memorial Day - No Run Club
JUNE 2 - Track Intervals Workout
JUNE 9 - Running Strong (combo cardio and strength)
JUNE 16 - Track intervals workout
JUNE 23 - NOFFS Energy System Development (ESD)
JUNE 30 - Power & Speed Day
